We provide the following services: business analysis, functional analysis, application design, application architecture and mentoring:
-
Our business analysts crystallize develop an as-is or to-be business model and crystallize business requirements. They use UML and/or BPMN. Their most important deliverables are a formal and detailed domain model, business rules specs, activity diagrams and a vision document.
-
Our functional analysts crystallize requirements for the software system. Their most important deliverables are use case documentation, with further refinement of the domain model and business rules specs.
-
Our designers design the solutions using UML models like design class diagrams and sequence diagrams. They work in close relation with the development team and preferably participate development. Designers are experts in a technical domain (Java, Mainframe, Data warehousing), but combine this development expertise with modelling expertise.
-
Our application architects develop a complete architectural model of the system. Their most important deliverables are a logical model, to identify layers and major components, a deployment model and an architectural baseline.
-
Our mentors support business teams with their modelling expertise and knowledge of analysis and design methods and software development process best practices. We have a preference for agile methods, like RUP, XP or Scrum.
The following illustration provides a rough overview of typical deliverables:

All our consultants have a strong mathematical background and master the object oriented paradigm. They are trained to be absolute experts in modelling.
We can do our projects off-site and/or at customer site. Off-site offers the advantage that it is easier to guarantee quality, because of maximum usage of the expertise center and more effective internal quality control. The advantages of the skill center are maximized. Customer site services provide the advantage that it is easier to team up with the customer team. A combination of these working modes is therefore advised.
We can work with any modelling tool (Enterprise Architect, Mega, IBM Rational Rose).
